ID.me Identity Verification

If you did not file the claim, stop here! You do not need to verify your identity with ID.me. Please visit https://mft.twc.state.tx.us/form/UIfraudENG for important information.

Verifying your identity online with ID.me is secure and available 24 hours a day. There are just four easy steps to complete your identity verification:

1. Select the Verify with ID.me button at the bottom of this page
2. Create an ID.me Account
3. Secure your account using a one-time passcode that is sent to your phone or generated via mobile app each time you log in
4. Verify your Identity

The ID.me guide helps you through each step of the identity verification process

If you do have difficulties with the verification process, ID.me offers video-chat with an ID.me trusted referee, a trained and certified staff member, who will help you verify your identity. Please see the How to Verify Your Identity on a Video Call guide to learn more.

What is ID.me?

ID.me is a federally certified online identity network that specializes in digital identity verification and protection and is a trusted partner of the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). The main goal of ID.me is to make sure you are you and not someone pretending to be you.

What Happens After Your Identity is Verified?

When your identity has been verified and your information matches TWC's records, we will release the identity verification hold and notify you. You should receive notification within 3-5 business days after you verify your identity through ID.me.
